Last night was one of those nights when you're dreaming of someone you are deeply affectionate for. In your dream you are hugging, cuddling, spooning, maybe some other things that would be innaporopriate to mention in public, and kissing them. Oh how good it feels!
But then, while you are kissing, the alarm clock goes off and rudely awakens you from your blissful moment with its smug siren-like blaring. And then you wake up alone and realize it was all a dream. You try to fall back asleep quickly so you can continue the dream and stay in that moment for just a little bit longer, but as hard as you try, it's gone. You are left with nothing but quickly fading memories of a perfect happiness as you accept reality once again.

No happy endings
1. In Dying
My friend, Jayne's, boyfriend had died and we were making preparations for his funeral. She wanted him to be sent out to sea in a boat, but there was only a river close by and I was concerned that his boat might drift ashore downriver and then people would be rather distubed to find a dead body in it. My whole class seemed to know about this issue and we had lecturers come talk about personal strength and challenging us to think about what we had done recently to help our colleagues. Petitions suddenly started circulating (which I assume were inspired by the lecture). There were three of them in total. One of the petitions was lead by Charmaine, who wanted the change found in the couches in the lounge to be donated to PhUS.
2. In Rescuing
Two of my friends had been shrunk and trapped in a boat which was inside a sphere the size of a basketball. Their encagement was roughly the shape of a dome with a forcefield at the bottom. There was a branch that hung from the bottom of the dome which was partially in and partially out of the forcefield. It could be moved through the forcefield easily, while everything else could not be moved through. My companion who was also helping to rescue these two friends morphed herself into a bird and teleported inside the sphere. She released the two friends from their holding cell in the boat and was leading them out but some guards inside the boat noticed and then captured my two friends again.

The Haunting
It was a dark and stormy night. [I've always wanted to start something that way :D]
I was in a room with another person and we were doing a puzzle where we had to colour squares on a piece of graph paper and then place the papers by the walls of the room. After we had papered all the walls, little figures started appearing randomly by each wall, a couple at a time, then dissappearing. I came to the conclusion that these were a type of ghost and that they were now haunting the room because we had completed the puzzle. We tried slashing at them with long sticks but they would turn smoky and dissappear. Eventually we realized that if we grabbed at them quickly enough, they would turn into little figurines and we could collect them. We grabbed a whole bunch and lined them all up along a window sill.

[I've had a multitude of dreams in the last little while since I'be been able to sleep in. However, because of the lazy attitude that comes with sleeping in, I always forget what my dreams were about before I can write about them.]

Magical Girl
1. Grocery Store Shopping
I am with my family and my sister and I are running around a grocery store (might have been Superstore) trying to find items we want. First I go looking for a swiffer duster but I can't find one. I found the cleaning aisle but they only had expensive vaccums. Then I go looking for tea since I was out of chammomile tea and Starbucks Zen green tea. Chammomile was sold out, except for the stuff in the Starbucks brand. There was a large box of tea but the plastic wrap over it was torn so it was $2 off (and it was about $38 for about 40 bags). I also get a box of Zen green tea. I take it to the checkout but my dad says the tea is too expensive and we didn't buy it.
2. Help
I was underwater swimming with a girl that lived underwater. We were being chased by someone evil in an underwater vehicle. He was leading a fleet of underwater vehicles, sort of like mini submarines, only they were fast and very manuverable. The girl and I swam around trying to lose the people chasing us. We swam into a very green region and then the girl swims to the bottom of a large climb of plants growing from a wall of rock. She pushes some of the plants aside and swims through. I follow her and we both swim to the surface of the water. We are in an underwater cave.
We both get out of the water and the girl climbes up a rocky wall and opens a small, opaque-glassed window. She tells me to hurry and says that she really hopes our pursuer doesn't know where we are because it would be disasterous if he dug through the plants and found this cave. I climb up to where she is to look out the window and I see a classroom in another universe. The classroom is just a 4 walled room with a very tall ceiling and with square holes in one wall for windows and a doorway. There is no door or glass. Outside it is very dusty, it looks like a dirt road. The sun shines in from outside. The room is full of desks and students are sitting around reading or chatting with one another. The aquatic girl tells me to go get help.
My window is very high up near the ceiling of this room. I look down and there is a long bench along the wall below me, and a couple of students are playing card games. Nobody is directly below me so I climb through the window and drop down.
I plop down on the bench and all the students around me look at me in disbelief. Where the heck did I come from? I explain to the students near me that I'm from a different universe. I point to the window in the wall near the ceiling that I fell from, but now it is barely visable. A boy sitting on the bench beside me says he'll help me. He cuts some things from a sheet of paper for me [I cannot remember the relavence of this now] and then I leave the classroom.
I see a dollar store and I go inside. I wanter around and remark at how cheap everything is. I come across a display of beads on sale for 10 bags of beads for $9.99. I also look at packages of thread as they seem very cheap as well. I do not buy anything though, and I leave the store.
[Interruption of my dream as I woke up, looked at the clock, and went back to sleep]
I am at a table with Jamil, Alex, Heather, Kat and a few others whom I no longer remember who they are [All were people I know in real life] and someone is handing out some pills to everyone. I have no idea what any of them are. Each of us had a stack of about 5 peach coloured tablets, 4 green coloured tablets, and one blue tablet. I manage to swallow all the peach tablets with the glass of water that I had, but I needed more water to take the rest of the tablets. I crawl behind the people seated at my side of the table and go look in the fridge for more water. Kat is here and she remarks that she is really annoyed by the dog event at the park last night. Someones dog came into her house and made a mess of her house. I thought for a bit and realized that it could have been my dog since I was at that event and my dog ran away for a few minutes. I didn't say anything and just got some water and finished the rest of my pills. [Thinking back to this now, it seems very funny and makes sense now =P ]
[Another interruption of my dream as I woke up, looked at the clock, and went back to sleep]
I am with 4 people in white robes who are about to head into a battle. The leader says to the woman beside him that if he dies, then she should return to the kingdom. [in the dream, I actually knew what they were talking about but I have no idea now] My job in this battle was to sneak into a church and obtain a bag [of something... don't remember what was in the bag now] from a safe. The safe was located on a ledge on the ceiling of the curch.
I found the curch (a large rectangular building with one giant room) and climbed up to some rafters. I jump from rafter to rafter until I find a safe, but it is open. I realize that this is the fake safe and someone else took the fake bag. I jump to the next rafter and I find a locked safe. I open it easily and remove a white cloth bag that was filled with something crinkly. The bag was very light. [Thinking about it now, it seems like the bag was filled with paper or something else to cushion something small and delicate. It might have been some kind of computer chip]
I drop down from the rafters to the main floor of the curch. I notice that there are people coming so I will be unable to make my escape. I find a closet and I hide in it, peeking out a crack in the closet door.
Some students come into the church and sit down at a table. One student comes towards the closet I am hiding in. I'm very scared that I'll be discovered. The student just pushes close the doors of the closet and then goes back to the table. I am very much relieved but now I cannot see outside. A few minutes later, the closet door opens. It is a boy who wants to put his backpack ito the closet. We recognize each other. He was the boy that I talked to when I first arrived in this universe. He tells me that if I want to sneak out of the church, now would be the time to do it as everybody outside will not be paying attention as they are all in groups taking lessons. I thank him and I leave the church.
Directly outside the curch there are some cliffs. There is a class going on about 50 meters away and a woman is teaching her students about cliff safety. Nobody is watching me so I run and jump off a ledge. I do a few flips in mid air and land perfectly and lightly on my feet (I'm from a different universe and I seem to be able to overcome the acceleration of gravity in this universe) I did not manage to get very far away by jumping off that cliff, so I climb back up and survey other ledges. I see one ledge that would be perfect. There is a very long fall from it (about 200 meters at least), and it would land near a stream. I could make my escape along the stream. This ledge was right where the class was getting a lesson.
I run towards the cliff ledge and the teacher sees me and starts yelling. I run off the ledge and soar downwards.
Then I woke up :(

Water theme?
1. Fish
Harpreet (A schoolmate of mine in 4th year) wanted to breed her fish so we went to a fish museum to find her a mate for her fish. The museum was like an art museum but it had fishtanks instead of paintings (and was unlike an aquarium or a fish store because the tanks were all very spread out and it looked like an art museum). We came across a small room with the door open but lights off. We went inside and there were three tanks: one was a very tall cylindrical tank with nothing inside, and the other two tanks had large fish in them. My friend put her fish into the tall cylindrical tank [Apparently she had been carrying her fish the whole time? Without any water or a container???] and we selected another fish from one of the tanks and put it into the cylindrical tank as well. The two fish didn't seem to like each other as my friend's fish swam at the top of the tank, while the other fish dug a hole in the sand in the bottom of the tank and stayed there. We tried poking the fish, but they still wouldn't have babies.
2. Magical shoes
I was in a group of people and we had just taken a ferry to a little island. When we got to the island, we all recieved magic shoes with little wings on them. These shoes would allow us to fly across the water and get back to the mainland where we came from. One of the older guys knew how to use them and taught the group. It was very complicated: you had to first start the wings, then get enough speed, then adjust the angle of your feet and a bunch of other things before you could take off. Everyone was on a grass field practicing how to fly with their shoes except for me. I was still on the dock putting on my shoes. By the time I was done putting on my shoes, everyone else had flown off and I was still stuck on the island. I asked the guy who knew how to fly if he would teach me, but he refused and he flew off. I could not get my shoes to work so I just though, "forget this" and sprouted wings from my back and flew across the water. I flew really low so it looked like I was running across the surface of the water. Then I spent the rest of the dream running across the water looking cool.

Short series
1. I was a guy and I was out for dinner with an Indian girl. We had been waiting for the food for a very long time but it hadn't arrived yet. The last time I had gone to that restauraunt, I had complained that the food wasn't there and they never served us. I went and politely asked the waiter if our soup was ready yet and then they served us right away.
2. A friend from elementary school and I were an indoor jungle exhibit put on by a fire station. [Now that I think about it, the place sorta reminds me of a mini golf course I played once] The whole display was very lame and very fake looking. The last room we entered was supposed to be the lobby but I noticed that there were 4 clothes hooks - one on each wall of the room - with mascot style panda costumes on them. The floor was made of bamboo mats. I noticed there was a timer above every costume so we put on the costumes as fast as we could. Then we proceeded to sumo wrestle as pandas.
Suddenly we were in a different setting, from behind giant panda mask the it looked like a bar. Dick Cheney was there being interrogated by a woman, possibly a reporter. I tried to spy on them since I was in my panda costume. I tried to look inconspicuous by working on building a K'NEX roller coaster (http://www.knex.com/bigbuilds). [Yes, I realize that in real life a person in a panda suit building with k'nex would be very conspicuous indeed]
